THOSE UNEXPECTED LIFE CHANGES..........

Hey everyone..
Brent's condition since this afternoon has not changed much. His situation is very critical and he is very sedated. This makes it hard for mom and dad to leave Regina to come to Saskatoon to celebrate Katie's life. However, they have good friends in Nicole and Jonathan who will be with Brent as they come to Saskatoon.

Soon, Scot and Carolyn (Cary) will be making their way to Saskatoon. Their friend Norm will be driving them so they can rest their weary bodies during the ride. They will be arriving tonight (thursday night) and will spend the evening at their home. Tomorrow, April 3 they will get up and surrounded by family, friends say farewell to their beautiful Katie Rose.

The memorial promises to be a time of great celebration reflecting the vibrant attitude of Katie. Katie loved music, Stargate, animals, and great times with friends. We are so thankful to know her, but the hardest thing is feeling that she's gone way too soon.
You are invited to celebrate her life on Friday, April 3 at Elim Tabernacle in Saskatoon at 1 p.m.

Scot and Carolyn (Cary) are on the way to celebrate their daughter. After the eventful day on Friday they will return to Regina by 8 p.m Friday night to be with their "Little Man" Brent. Pray for safety, protection, and peace for them.

Those unexpected life changes...who would have thought of these sudden changes.
Through this all our Heavenly Father is nearby offering comfort and hope through His Holy Spirit.

To Brent - have a great sleep tonight and heal well
To Katie - we miss and love you - Friday is for you :)

Keep hoping. Keep loving. Keep praying.

We'll keep you posted............

  1. Praying that Scot and Carolyn will feel God's presence tonight and tomorrow as they are away from Brent and yet celebrating the life of their daughter. I don't know this family but have been following the blog and been praying for them. May God hold you in His hand.

  3. May the most peaceful, restful sleep fill you this night. May Brent be completely free from alarm and heal during these hours. May your day tomorrow, despite the gut wrenching grief, offer you renewed strength through the celebration of The Gift you held for 16 years. You are loved.
