Complications are compiling quickly with the kidneys and liver. The medical staff are discussing what action to take next. The anxiety is growing in Scot and Carolyn (Cary). Please continue to pray for the kidneys, liver and bowel. Continue to pray for the swelling to do down.
The rollercoaster ride of the healing journey continues.........

ReplyDeleteDear Carolyn and Scot, thank you for being an example of how to put our trust in Christ alone
ReplyDeleteIN CHRIST ALONE
In Christ alone will I glory
Though I could pride myself
In battles won
For I've been blessed beyond measure
And by His strength alone, I over come
Oh, I could stop and count successes
Like diamonds in my hands
But these trophies could not equal
To the grace, by which I stand
In Christ alone
I place my trust
And find my glory
In the power of the cross
In every victory
Let it be said of me
My source of strength
My source of hope
Is Christ alone
In Christ alone will I glory
For only by His grace
I am redeemed
And only His tender mercy
Could reach beyond my weakness
To my need
Now I seek no greater honor
Than just to know Him more
And to count my gains but losses
And to the glory of my Lord
In Christ alone
I place my trust
And find my glory
In the power of the cross
In every victory
Let it be said of me
My source of strength
My source of hope
Is Christ alone
Carolyn, Scot and Brent

Scot and Car and Bub,
ReplyDeleteWe wish we could be with you and Mom and Dad this Easter weekend. It sucks that we're so far away. But you are very close in our hearts and we think of you all constantly.(and of Rosie, too). We join you in prayer for wisdom for the doctors as they try to figure out these complications that have developed with our boy. But we know that he is in God's hands, and there's no safer hands to be in.

Lay your weary head apon my shoulder
ReplyDeleteare the words I can hear my Saviour say,
Walk with me and let me give you comfort
for I have come to light the pilgrims way.
Like a child needs affection,
an eagle needs a nest.
I'm in need of comfort, solitude and rest,
Like a ship needs a compass
to navigate a storm,
I will trust in Jesus to find my way
my way home.
