JUST ANOTHER MONDAY MORNING MERCY

'BUT GOD'S NOT FINISHED. HE'S WAITING AROUND TO BE GRACIOUS TO YOU. HE'S GATHERING STRENGTH TO SHOW MERCY TO YOU. GOD TAKES THE TIME TO DO EVERYTHING RIGHT - EVERYTHING. THOSE WHO WAIT AROUND FOR HIM ARE THE LUCKY ONES'. (Isaiah 30:18 - The Message)

God's mercies are new every morning. Brent is resting and everything is still calm. Doctors came by on their day off to see how he was doing. Through all this resting his body is healing.

Continue to pray for full healing for Brent.
Scot and Carolyn (Cary) are taking the time to go through all the cards and blog responses - they are feeling very encouraged.

Thank you for your caring and your support.

Keep hoping.Keep loving.Keep praying

  7. So relieved to hear he is resting and all is calm. I see an image of Jesus calming the water with one command. He can and I believe will calm this storm and heal Brent. We will keep praying for a FULL recovery, and a full life to come! We don't know you but my family is praying and loves you with a love from Jesus living in us and our kids!

  9. On Saturday I read Ps 92 and couldn't help but feel this was for Brent. Today I am excited to see his stableness...a testimony of God's faithfulness.

When I read it, I substituted 'injuries' for enemies:

"It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to the Most High. It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening...
"You thrill me, LORD, with all you have done for me! I sing for joy because of what you have done.

"O LORD, WHAT GREAT MIRACLES YOU DO! AND HOW DEEP ARE YOUR THOUGHTS...
"YOU HAVE MADE ME AS STRONG AS A WILD BULL. HOW REFRESHED I AM BY YOUR POWER!

"With my own eyes I have seen the downfall of my (injuries)...With my own ears I have heard the defeat of my (infections)...

"BUT THE GODLY WILL FLOURISH LIKE PALM TREES AND GROW STRONG LIKE THE CEDARS OF LEBANON. For they are transplanted into the LORD'S own house. They flourish in the courts of our God. Even in old age they will still produce fruit; THEY WILL REMAIN VITAL AND GREEN. They will delcare, "The LORD is just! His is my rock! There is nothing but goodness in Him!"

We will continue to Praise the Lord for the healing that is already Brent's! He will rise up and declare the Awesome Mighty Power of God's hand on his life!!

  13. We are so thankful that God is taking care of Brent and will heal him in HIS time. Even though we don't see the whole picture, God does and HE knows exactly what HE is doing. Scot & Car, spending time with you is healing for us - your faith is strong and encourages us to keep looking up. We also see your sorrow and that helps too. As I said before, every breath is a prayer for your family.
