BRENT RESTING WELL TONIGHT

Thank you for coming to Katie's memorial today. If you were not able to come, thank you for your thoughts and love.

Brent is resting well tonight. Blood pressure and other items of concern are settling down. We are thankful as everything is calm tonight.

Scot and Carolyn (Cary) were directed by the nurse tonight to go back to the hotel together. They listened! Tonight they are pouring over the blog, letters, cards and reflecting.

They appreciate your prayers. The journey for Brent's healing continues....

Keep hoping.Keep loving.Keep praying.

    Praise You In This Storm
    Verse 1
    I was sure by now
God You would have reached down
    And wiped our tears away
Stepped in and saved the day
But once again I'll say Amen
    And it's still rainin'
    Misc 1
    (PRE CHORUS)
    As the thunder rolls
    I barely hear You whisper
    Through the rain
    I'm with You
    And as Your mercy falls
    I'll raise my hands
And praise the God who gives
    And takes away
    Chorus 1
And I'll praise You in this storm
And I will lift my hands
For You are who You are
    No matter where I am
    And ev'ry tear I've cried
    You hold in Your hand
    You never left my side
And though my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm
    Verse 2
    I remember when
    I stumbled in the wind
You heard my cry to You
    And raised me up again
But my strength is almost gone
    How can I carry on
    If I can't find You
    Misc 1
    (PRE CHORUS)
    As the thunder rolls
    I barely hear You whisper
    Through the rain
    I'm with You
    And as Your mercy falls
    I'll raise my hands
And praise the God who gives
    And takes away
And I'll praise You in this storm
And I will lift my hands
For You are who You are
    No matter where I am
    And ev'ry tear I've cried
    You hold in Your hand
    You never left my side
And though my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm
    Misc 2
    (BRIDGE)
I lift my eyes unto the hills
Where does my help come from
My help comes from the Lord
The Maker of heaven and earth

You are so much in our prayers. God is still here and working and doing what He does best- being God. This is a song by Casting Crowns if you get a chance to listen to it I know that it will comfort and encourage you. We are all part of the body of Christ and we love you and care about you.

  10. Dear Scot, Cary and Brent we have been reading the blog daily and praying for your family. I was not able to be at the memorial and celebration of Katie's life, but I was praying for Brent that he would have a peaceful day. There are so many hearts and prayers around the world praying for Brent. We will continue to pray for you and for Brent and for peace that God would carry you through.
Our love and prayers, Larry & Marion

  12. Given the circumstances, a heartfelt best of luck Brent and get well soon seem so inadequate but I guess the message is still the same. Keep fighting hard buddy! You have a long life in front of you and parents, family and friends who love you and who will help you with the physical, spiritual and psychological healing to come.
