  2. Wow, what a day for you, Scot and Cary...and it is still not complete. Praying that Brent's team of doctors, nurses and staff are not getting weary and are fixing things up with extreme precision. God continue to grant them much wisdom. Praying for all those involved. Brent, Scot and Cary you inspire us all to live for today, and be thankful for so much more than we are and for what we take for granted. Thank you for sharing this journey with so many of us who not even know you. I pray you have been feeling God's strong arms around you all day. Peace be with you as we anticipate the news to come.

We continue to pray and believe with faith that God is more than able to work miracles. We are praying for the surgeons and health care team, Brent and Scot and Cary. May the Holy Spirit bring comfort and peace and orchestrate the details of this situation.

  16. wow. hang in there buddy. I sort of know a bit of what you're going through. my siter was the one killed in the firearm accident two and a half years ago... and i'm the brother that did it. No matter what happens just don't give up your faith in god and keep your eyes open for the positive outcome. (not always easy to see). I'm praying for you and so is my family. It's not out job to question god for why he lets happen what he does...but it will all make sense when we meet up with him in heaven. be strong. Nigel (cut knife saskatchewan)

  18. I think the refresh button is going to be warn out as every few minutes I keep checking on Brent to see if there are any updates. I want to know so baddly that everthing has gone well and that Brent is resting comfortably. So Lord I just pray for Brent the same thing I pray for my son Mark every night that you would send angels to watch over our two very special boys and that they would continue to heal and improve every day and that they would both be a testimony to how great and wonderful you are. Amen

  20. Continuing to pray....
I won't be able to sleep tonight until I hear that the surgery is over, and a huge success. I'm so thankful for Pastor Rob for keeping this blog updated, as so many others are. It's overwhelming to read the comments from so many people all over the world from Cut Knife, Sask. to Russia to California to Sudan. Wow! It's amazing that friends, family, and friends of friends send so much love. But for some reason, it touches me in a profound way that so many complete strangers to our family are loving, hoping, and praying with us!
Bubs, surely God has an amazing plan for your life. You are the bravest boy I know and we're all so proud of you. I know this has been scary for you at times, but remember that Jesus holds you in the palm of His hands. He is carrying you. Someday, all the pieces of this puzzle will fit together, and things will be more clear.
Even though our hearts will always be sad because we miss Rosie, someday you will laugh again, and play at school with your friends again, and just veg on the couch and play Wii again, and watch movies with Park and tease Tee again, and play soccer with your Dad again, and help in Kids Church again, and go shopping with your Mom again, and give your auntie lots of hugs again.....ooh, yeah, that'll be so great! I can't wait!
You are so special to so many people, and we're all cheering for you and praying for you. YOU ARE LOVED. xoxoxoxoxo auntie dean

  21. Just checking one more time today to see if there is any more news. We too are so thankful for your consistency in keeping everyone updated. Thank you Pastor Rob and family.
Scot, Cary, and Brent you don't know how many times you come up in conversations with others, as we ask others to join with us in prayer for you. We are all in the family of God and are all in this together. God is using your situation as a reminder to all that we need each other and God wants His love to be extended through each of us. Hang in there Brent, God is watching over you. Scot and Car, we wish we could be there to give you big hugs :)
God bless you tonight as you wait and may God restore your strength for tomorrow.
    Love,
    Barb, Dwayne and family

  22. Don't know what to say that hasn't already been said Scot and Carolyn, but I wanted you to know that those of us who are off work from the ICU today have been thinking about dear Brent all day long and have been checking in to see how things are going. Our hearts go out to you guys as we see what you are all having to go through. Waiting to hear good news soon.
    See you Friday a.m.

    Hugs,
