BRENT - A LITTLE SWOLLEN BUT DOING OKAY

Brent is having a calm Sunday resting in his ICU "Penthouse". The procedure to change the vac dressing went fine this morning. The only challenge was that Brent's bowels are still swollen and they were not able to close up the abdomen anymore. The NG tube that was attached to his nose is now gone. Soon, Brent should be able to try some soft foods.
Otherwise, Brent is resting so the swelling can go away.

Keep hoping.Keep loving.Keep praying.

  7. Brent, Carolyn and Scott,

Continuing to breath your names in prayer, morning and evening and through out the day. It's been along journey for you all. Looking at it one day at a time helps. Also be prepared for suddenlies for good.
Many times we can get bogged down from day to day but remember NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD. By keeping this in mind He can surprise us with suddenly reports for the good.
Suddenly the women at the well had her answer. Suddenly the women with the issue of blood had her answer. Suddenly the man put down through the roof had his answer. The ones that kept believing for him brought him to Jesus.
Scott and Carolyn and Brent, think of us all like those men who pursued a healing for the man on the cot. Well thats what we are doing daily along with YOUR prayers, we are putting God in remembrance of His covenant.
With those four men it wasn't sense, sight or reason, they simply were taking God at His Word.
We are safer in danger with Christ, then in quietness without Him. Whatever we come to in life, He'll bring us through it.
When He said to the diciples "let us go to the other side." He did not let them sink in the storm, He got them to the other side. He will get you all through this storm in your lives.
HE LOVES YOU SCOTT CAROLYN AND BRENT, YOU ALL ARE THE APPLE OF HIS EYE!
You can lean on Him through these busy days. Many times I've had to say "I need your strength again today Lord" as I went about my day sure enough strength came for that day.
Continuing to pray for strength for you all.
Brent keep fighting, you are going to have an awesome testimony. You will some day encourage others to never give up. Scott and Carolyn you will do likewise. All Heaven is cheering you on.
    Blessings from Alberta Canada

  8. Scot and Cary and Brent,
We will never know the pain involved in what you are sll going through. We will never know the fear and the anxiety that has been filling your days (and nights), but do know this, YOU HAVE AN ARMY PRAYING FOR YOU AND THIS SITUATION! We will not cease praying and lifting your family up to the lord.

And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Matthew 10:30

He truly cares for each and every thought and concern of yours whether voiced or not. I don't know(other than God) how you do it, but keep relying on Him--He is always there andwill not leave you!!!

    Hoping! Loving! Praying!
