I received a phone call about two minutes ago from Carolyn (Cary). They will not be leaving Regina yet.
Brent might have been an allergic reaction and his upper right lung has collapsed. They are doing a test where they are going to put a scope with a camera in to see what is happening with the upper respiratory. There is great concern at this moment with this latest turn of events.
Scot and Carolyn (Cary) are not alone - they are with friends tonight in Regina awaiting what is going on with their son.
Please pray and if you can, please leave a response of encouragement to this blog entry.
Keep hoping. Keep loving. Keep praying.
We'll keep you posted.........

Lifting your family up in prayer this evening.
ReplyDeleteWe are praying and hoping for a miracle for Brent...May you all feel God's presence during this most difficult time. One cannot imagine nor begin to understand all the emotions that you, Scot and Cary are going through with your precious son, Brent. We hope things settle down so you can make the trip to S'toon tomorrow. Keep hoping, keep trusting, that God will see you through this journey, and give you a peace beyond comprehension, and the strength to carry on, one day at a time...one moment at a time.

We're still praying for Brent, and have asked many others to do the same. We'll keep lifting him up until we hear an assurance of recovery.

But know that we hurt with you and are praying for miracles and healing that only God can provide. He hears every desperate cry of our hearts and is with you even more closely than ever.

Psalm 121 "I will lift my eyes to the hills__ from where will my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. He who keeps [Brent] will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep your going out and your going in from this time on and forevermore!"
