Brent is just going for another surgery. Brent is getting his vac dressing changed. He had a great day resting while we celebrated Katie in Saskatoon.
Please continue to pray for Brent's full healing. Scot and Carolyn (Cary) are making their way down to Regina now to be with and focus on their "LITTLE MAN".
Keep hoping. Keep loving. Keep praying.

From beginning to end, the service today gave God the glory for a life well lived and choices well made. Although Katie was here for nearly 17 years, it was clear how her short life impacted so many, and how her committment to making good choices have given her the greatest reward of all-a place in the presence of the Saviour she loved with all of her heart. We were moved to hear from her friends as they shared their hearts of how much their dear friend, Katie, has meant to them and how much she is missed. The hymn "Holy Holy Holy" as it was related today through Katie's Auntie Pat was very special, and we are sure there are many others like us- who will hear that hymn from now on with a new and heartfelt perspective. The entire afternoon was a beautiful reflection of a beautiful girl, and how she lived her life to the fullest. Her love for family, friends and for others was moving. In a world where many people- young and old- look out for "number one", Katie looked beyond herself and saw the needs of others-especially children-who in turn responded to her- sensing her genuine love for them. Scot and Carolyn -you raised an amazing young woman who loved the Lord and allowed Him to shine through her. This in itself is a success story, for God calls us to love Him with all that is in us. We can only imaginine Katie hearing those words from God himself on February 27th-Well done, Katie Rose.
