Dearest Carolyn, Scot, and Brent:
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful tribute and honor to your dear Katie. She touched many lives in her short life, and the days ahead will add much to a life well lived as we continue to reflect on the message of her memorial. God Bless You All!
An old hymn for you:
He Giveth More Grace
He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater;
He sendeth more strength when the labours increase,
To added affliction He addeth His mercy;
To multiplied trials, His multiplied peace.
When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
When our strength has failed ere the day is half done,
When we reach the end of our hoarded resources,
Our Father's full giving is only begun.
His love has no limit; His grace has no measure
His power has no boundary known unto men.
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus,
He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again!
Thank God for His sustaining grace.
God Bless You All!!
We thank God for the many miracles He has performed in your family during these past 36 days, and KNOW He has only just begun. Remembering you with much love, praying with each breath I take, and trusting an unknown future to a known God. Our love and prayers,
Merla and family.
Continuing to pray for complete healing for Brent and strength and peace for Scot and Cary. Blessings on Katie's dear soul and may her memories bring you much comfort and smiles in the years ahead.

ReplyDeleteIt was a privilege to be able to attend the memorial for Katie. It was a testimony to the way that God worked in her life and to the way that God used the two of you to make her into the young lady that she was.
We will continue to pray for you that God will give His healing to Brent and also to you. May He pour out his mercy and peace on you.

ReplyDeleteScot and Carolyn....What a beautiful memorial service for Katie. You did her proud. I don't know how you two keep going but it totally amazes me the strength you show under such difficult and terrible circimstances. Jared asks daily how Brent is doing. I'm sure all of his soccer buddies do as well. We are thinking and praying for you and Brent every day. Take care of yourselves as well. God Bless.

When you think of Katie
ReplyDeleteRemember Me ; Mark Schultz
Remeber me
In a Bible cracked and faded by the years
Remember me
In a satuary filled with silent prayers
CHORUS
And age to age
And heart to heart
Bound by grace and peace
Child of wonder,Child of God
I'll remember you
Remember Me
Remember me
When the color of the sunset fills the sky
Remember me
When you pray and the tears of joy
fall from you eyes
CHORUS
Remember me
When the children leave
their Sunday school with smiles
Remember me
When they're old enough to teach
Old enough to preach
Old enough to leave
CHORUS
Age to age and heart to heart
Child of wonder child of God
Remember me
Age to age and heart to heart
Child of wonder child of God
May this song be a blessing to all of you!
Praying with you and for you!!
Love Jenn :)
