TENTH SURGERY COMPLETE

Good morning everyone. Brent went in for surgery at 6:45 and the surgery was complete around 7:45 a.m. The tenth surgery went well. Brent was pretty much breathing on his own last night until about 1:30 a.m. That is good news. Please continue to pray for total healing for Brent and that he will be able to breathe on his own.

Scot and Carolyn (Cary) THANK YOU for your prayers and thoughtfulness.

  4. Daily Bread today ... Jesus said "I am with you always" - that takes into account all our various activities, the good and bad circumstances surrounding us, the varied responsibilities we have through the course of our days, the storm clouds and the sunshine. Our Lord is present with us no matter what each day brings. It may be a day of joy or of sadness, of sickness or of health, of success or of failure. No matter what happens to us today, our Lord is walking beside us, strengthening us, loving us, filling us with faith, hope, and love. As He envelops us with quiet serenity and security, our foes, fears, afflictions, and doubts begin to recede. We can bear up in any setting and circumstance because we know the Lord is at hand, just as He told Paul in Acts 18:10, "I am with you."
In the midst of your day today say to yourself, "The Lord is here."
Thinking of you and praying for you.

  7. Bearing one anothers' burdens. Know that you are upheld in prayer all day by ones who do not even know you. The family of God is large, and your support vast.
May the peace that surpasses ALL understanding guard your hearts and your minds through Christ Jesus.

  10. Scot and Cary, so many people are praying for you guys and Brent. I still check the blog daily for updates and even my co-workers now check, and they don't even know you. I know Jesus is walking right beside you all and sometimes carrying you. May you rest in His understanding and care. And Lord, thank You for Your guidance and healing thus far. Please continue to heal Brent completely, wipe out any infection, and keep his blood pressure stable. Thank you for the joy You've given Scot and Cary in seeing Brent's eyes open and allowing them to touch their son again. We ask You to continue these positive steps and make Brent strong again. In Jesus' name, amen. Scot and Cary, stay strong and rest in knowing so many prayers are being said on your behalf.
