EYE OPENING EXPERIENCE

Brent had a great day today. He is resting and healing well. Brent's blood pressure is stable. The sedative is slowly being decreased. A great thing for Scot and Carolyn (Cary) today....Brent was awake enough to respond to his Mom and Dad. Brent also had his eyes open today for a few moments.

Carolyn would like to share a verse from the bible - "I will lead blind Israel down a new path, guiding them along an unfamiliar way. I will brighten the darkness before them and smooth out the road ahead of them. Yes, I will indeed do these things; I will not forsake them" (Isaiah 42:16 - NLT)

"But I will take the hand of those who don't know the way. Who can't see where they're going. I'll be a personal guide to them, directing them through unknown country. I'll be right there to show them what roads to take, make sure they don't fall into the ditch. These are the things I'll be doing for them - sticking with them, not leaving them for a minute" (Isaiah 42:16 - The Message)

God is taking the hand of Brent, Scot and Carolyn (Cary) and is directing them. Jesus is a personal guide to them directing them with the Holy Spirit through unknown country. God will be there to show the Petersons what roads to take. These are the things I'll be doing for them - sticking with Brent, his Mom and Dad, not leaving them for a minute.

  8. Having been through some uncertainty when my daughter was born almost 3 years ago, I can understand a lot of what Scot and Carolyn are going through. I am so thankful for good news about Brent's blood pressure. Keep leaning on God. We are uncertain about His ways, but God will NEVER leave you and is constantly by Brent's side. Praying for you!!
