LITTLE BY LITTLE

Good morning everyone. It's amazing what faith and praying can do. Brent is moving in the right direction. This morning his blood pressure is stable. He has no fever.

Please pray:
  • for his blood pressure to remain stable
  • for the infection to go away
  • for full healing of his body
  • for strength for Scot and Carolyn
  • for the medical staff at Regina General to be divinely guided

The Peterson's express their gratitude to everyone....

A reminder...MEMORIAL for KATIE ROSE is on Friday, April 3 @ 1 p.m. @ Elim Tabernacle

  5. Scot and Carolyn, you don't know me but your sister Nadine is a dear dear friend of mine from our Continental days. I am so very heartbroken over your loss of Katie, and the trials you continue to experience with Brent. I can't imagine what you're going through, but know many intersessions are going up on your behalf. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted. Many Continental friends are praying for you all, and even my sheriff's department is praying. May God grant you comfort and peace, and may He give Brent the strength and healing he needs.
    Sincerely,
    Claudia Shafer

  6. Brent, what can anyone of us say but "YOU ARE A TRUE FIGHTER, NEVER GIVE UP". Dakota is right, you have come so far. Keep fighting and we will see you when you get home. Scot and Carolyn, you have raised a champion in Brent and an angel in Katie. We love you and keep you in our prayers.

  7. i will be at the funeral even though i know i have to miss school to go i think they will understand! Katie is such a good friend of mine.

    I worte Katie a poem here it is
    This is a poem for Katie Peterson my friend

    I am glad I went to City Park because, if I didn't I wouldn't of met you. Katie was always so happy,kind, nice, caring, friendly, and creative, out going and I am glad I'm your friend. I will always remember our good memories at school and at your sweet six teen birthday party. It makes me feel so sad,depressed,mad,upset,angey,disappointed and pissed off that you had to die when you where only sixteen years old and you arn't able to even pass grade ten now. I know you will always be on my mind and I will never forget you. Yu were there for me for the good times and the bad times in school. You gave me advice when I asked you for it.

    I remember the last thing I said to you on February 27/2009 at the dance competition, how do you get over a guy and Katie said ..to me quit thinking of him. Then I said that's hard I think of him 24/7. I did get over the guy too over the weekend.

    Katie liked dolphins,planting, sewing,reading,art,watching Sartgate with James Cook at lunch always and for ever.

    I can't believe you have passed away, oh I remember seeing you at school on Friday. Now it's hard for me to have to get up in the morning knowing that you won't be at school when I get there. It makes me so sad knowing that you died in a car crash on February on Friday 27/ 2009 at 3:30pm.

    I wonder how your family is going to deal with never being able to see you again alive.

    I miss you so much it hurts to think of you and it's not the same going to the same high school every day. It makes me sad I can't see you at school any more.

    Rest In Peace Katie Peterson

  8. I have been following your blog since the start. Even though I don't know the Peterson family, I am a good friend of Nadine's and together with my church, Heritage Valley Assembly in Edmonton, we have been praying for all of you.
    I want to encourage you with the Word of God from Psalm 121:

    I will lift up my eyes to the hills-
    where does my help come from?
    My help comes from the Lord,
    the Maker of heaven and earth.

    He will not let your foot slip-
    he who watches over you will not slumber;
    indeed, he who watches over Israel
    will neither slumber nor sleep.

    The Lord watches over you-
    the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
    the sun will not harm you by day,
    nor the moon by night.

    The Lord will keep you from all harm-
    he will watch over your life;
    he will watch over your coming and going
    both now and forevermore.

  9. Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this:
    "The faithful love of the Lord never ends!
    His mercies never cease.
    Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning."

    How great is our God.
    Thank you for holding the Peterson Family in your arms.

  10. Dear Scot & Carolyn
    My heart is breaking for your family. Apr. 01,08 we were in an accident and our 3 year old sons life hung in the balance for such a long time and still to this day he is listed as in a coma. I just wanted you to know that our God is faithful and that as a family we will be praying for you.
