Good morning everyone. An urgent prayer request for Brent. Brent will be going for an angiogram around 10 a.m. today. The doctors involved will be discussing what to do next. When they do the angiogram today, if they find a small leak in the aorta they will do a procedure to try to fix that leak right at that moment. If they find the aorta leak to be large they will be discussing other options.
Pray that the leak will be small and fixable. Pray for a supernatural miracle to happen and that the leak will go away altogether. Pray that everything will be fine as they look at his heart (anything to do with the heart brings great risk).
Pray for peace and strength for Scot and Carolyn (Cary).
Pray for supernatural wisdom for the Regina General medical team.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Don't be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones."

Lord i just pray that the little leak in his aorta will be completely fixed when the doctors go in, i pray that if there it a small leak that you would give the doctors wisdom lord. i pray that you will bring the right people into his room that will encourage him and bring strength to his body. God i pray for cary and scot that you would comfort them and give them strength. Let them know that you are in control and everything is going to be ok, let them know that Brent is going to be so strong after this that it will shake the nation even more. everything happens for a reason. Continue to bring healing to this little mans body. hebrews 11:1 Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. we may not see it right now, but when we have faith and bcome sure of what is to come, healing will come. Hewbrews 13:5b, I will never leave you nor will i forsake you. God is always by our sides and he knows our paths. amen

ReplyDeletepraying for you guys this morning as Brent is going through these tests. To repeat what I wrote last night, never, never, never give up. You are fighting the good fight of faith and this battle is the Lord's. We just need to stand in agreement with His word, praying and believe. Do not even let doubt sneak it's ugly head into the situation. This child will live and not die and he will declare the glorius works of the Lord. I don't know the reference for that one, but I know it is in His word and so I believe it with all my heart.

God interviened for a 2 yr. old niece who was hit by a city bus in Saskatoon a few yrs. ago (approx.5 yrs. ago) She was in the hospital 5 months. She was in a body cast for a long time. She had some serious injuries and some not as bad, a broken neck, puncherd lung,an her legs were in bad shape. The more serious injuries I've forgotten the medical term.
ReplyDeleteI had the priviledge of seeing her last week while attending my 93 yr old mothers funeral in Sask.
My niece was jumping around like nothing happened. I talked to her mom and all she could say is she's a miracle child.
I've been praying daily along with others since recieving this prayer request March 14th/09. I'm picturing Brent well as I was reminded of this little niece's healing. Prayers went up daily for her as well from many christians.
I think of the scripture,When Peter was kept in prison: BUT prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. Acts 12:5
The church praying believing without ceasing is powerful for any problem. We all are the church near and far, praying without ceasing waiting for the manifestation, knowing our God is faithful to His promises.
I pray for strength for you Carolyn Scott and Brent. Everyday let your request be "Lord I Need Your strength again today." You will find as you take in that deep breath of His strength, peace will come with it.
We all are praying that our God will carry you through right to the finish line with victory reports.

Lorna (and Clarence) is Ina's sister & I'm a sister inlaw to Ina. Small world eh? Also my sister Grace & Irvin (who sent me the prayer request March 14/09) are friends of Maggie & Harvey.
