Good afternoon everyone. 'Little Man' Brent is facing the greatest challenge of his life tomorrow. Brent will be going for surgery on his aorta on Wednesday, May 20 th at 9 a.m. This complicated and risky procedure is estimated to last for eight hours.
Brent is having a bit of a rough day today with vomiting and pain. Scot and Carolyn (Cary) are persevering and doing a great job loving Brent through this journey. Your prayers are greatly appreciated.
Keep hoping.Keep loving.Keep praying.

Hi, thanks for the update. We will be praying for everyone, Brent, Mom and Dad, Medical Staff, Grandmas , Grandpas, all other family members and extended family and friends. Dear Lord, please take away the vomiting and pain, and let Brent have much needed rest for his big day ahead of him tomorrow, I pray you will give Mom and Dad rest and peace too and other family members. Thank you Jesus for your love, and compassion and healing. Amen

ReplyDeleteAt our staff meeting today, we prayed for all of you that the peace of God would be so real to each one of you as you head into this next surgery. There will be a lot of people praying along side of you tomorrow and believing for the best.

Our hearts are breaking for all of you...we are so thankful though that we have a God who cares about every single detail in our lives, and He cares about Brent so much and will hold him tomorrow in the palm of His hand during the surgery. We will be praying tomorrow as Brent goes into surgery....for Brent, for the surgeons, for Scot and Cary and everyone else who loves and cares for Brent. May God comfort and protect all of you as you 'wait' in the waiting room tomorrow.

Hang in there Brent and continue your valiant fight. you are an inspiration to all of us. We know this is a big surgery tomorrow but have faith that God will bring you through it. ReplyDeleteI wish I could be there with you guys tomorrow. To hold you, to walk with you, to try and make this easier for you. But I think I would serve you better right now holding you in my heart, mind, and prayers. Brent, you have a gaurdian angel looking down on you and protecting you; guiding the surgeon's hands, comforting you and your parents through all this turbulance you are experiencing. But know there are so many people around the world that are holding you in prayer.

Brent,Scot and Cary: Our thoughts will be with you more than ever tomorrow. I will pray, I will worry, I will hope, I will stay positive, I believe Katie is looking down at you all with her smile (knowing and trying to send you signs that it will be o.k. so watch for the signs because we all know Katie was a stinker and even though she is an angel in Heaven I can still see her being a stinker up there, don't you? She will do something to let you know her and all her angel friends are with you and it will make you smile.
