No Monkey Business

Brent and his monkey "Large Schweetheart". He received this from Dianna on 6A. The staff call Brent their Schweetheart.


Brent at Physio with Nancy, Mark and Julie. Brent was sitting up at the edge of the bed at 90 degrees for about 4 - 5 minutes.

Continue to pray for:
Pain in Brent's back
Pain in Brent's left wrist

Highlights:
Brent sat up on the edge of the mat at 90 degrees for 4 - 5 minutes.
Stopped by MPICU again for a visit. Sure good to see everyone again.
Brent has no CATHETER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Watched the movie 61 (about the NY Yankees) on the TV.
McDonald's chicken Nugetts for supper again.

    Every day when I read your story, I am so impressed with your steps to recovery! We rejoice with you at the daily improvements. You are an incredibly strong young man and are an example to many.

    Wow! You look fabulous!! I so wish I could be there to celebrate your progress with you! But you know that I'm there in thoughts and prayers.
    It must be a great feelng to not have that catheter..for the first time in almost 7 months! yay!

  10. Go Brent, Go Brent!!! You are doing so awesome. I bet you are going to surprise us all one of these days and just stand right up! We thank GOd for each new step you take and each new task conquered with determination and bravery. You are the bravest kid we know. Still believing for complete and total healing, and PRAISE THE LORD, the catheter is gone. I have no doubt that you are very excited about that! lol.

    I don't know where you are at - but I know in my own life I tend to get tunnel vision at times. I just wanted to encourage you (if you are needing it :) Brent has come so far. If you look back to the start of your journey he has come along with leaps and bounds and will continue to heal and progress. We are praying for full restoration. You guys are an incredible family. Way to go Brent sitting up and everything. Have fun at school LOL!
