Almost walking

Brent chose a verse for today. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you" Deut 31:6.
He had another verse taped to his bed which was "Life will at times be difficult, often it is painful, and for now it is imperfect. But still it is good, for in all these things nothing can separate us from God’s lavish expressions of love" (Rom. 8:39).

Carolyn (Cary) is feeling a bit better but she still needs to get rid of her cold. Please continue to pray. Thanks.

Continue to pray for :
Pain in Brent's back
Pain in Brent's left wrist
Brent is feeling nauseous

Highlights:
Brent used the parallel bars to stand up 2x. Today was a painful day standing but it will get better. Right Brent. I can't wait to have a race with Brent down the aisle with each of us in wheelchairs. Of course Dad will win. Of course.
After Physio Brent, Mom and Dad went to visit Kim and Neil (Outpatient physio on 4B at Regina General). Brent hadn't seen them since he finished with the tilt table.

Thank you for your prayers.
Keep hoping . Keep loving. Keep praying.

  1. Great verses Brent! Another verse that I like is "When I am weak, He is strong" - that helps me a lot!

Bet it's a different feeling to stand up between the bars eh? Good for you - I'm sure it was not easy and probably scary. You are doing so good bud.

So glad Mom is feeling a bit better and I think Dad is dreaming to think he will beat you in a wheelchair race!!

Looking forward to seeing you soon,
    Auntie Jan
