Thank you for your ongoing prayers. Brent returned to his room around 3 p.m. Brent continues to overcome the obstacles he's been facing this year. Today, another milestone was reached as the operation on Brent's back was successful.
Brent is strong and facing the pain with great determination. Here are some more details about today:
- pray for protection for Brent's body - there is a risk of infection
- Brent threw up tonight and generally is not feeling well
- there is considerable amount of pain in Brent's back and he's having moments of being uncomfortable
- Brent is also experiencing strong back spasms
- pray that he will have a long, sound sleep tonight
- pray that he will be ready to do physio
The staff at Regina General are incredible and the Peterson family is grateful for their efforts. Brent's vitals are doing great and his attitude is very positive. We give thanks to God for guiding and being with this family.

This is a huge milestone today and now that you have had successful surgery, your complete healing can move ahead with leaps and bounds! You have proven over and over again what a fighter you are and you continue to inspire us all!! We pray for continued hope and strength as you do physio and strength training.
