Day 188 - Last Day on the Tilt Table

Brent with Myles for the last time on the tilt table. The next time Myles and Brent are together it will be getting Brent sitting up on the edge of the bed, and then walking.

Continue to pray for:
Back surgery at 7:45 tomorrow
Pain in Brent's left wrist
Pain in Brent's back

Highlights:
Went for a CT Scan on Brent's back.
Brent went to 4B for Physio and the last tilt table session - got to 40 degrees.
Grandpa and Grandma Peterson came for a visit.
We had Western Pizza for supper (the Baked Chicken Fettucine sure was good).

Thank you for your prayers.
Keep hoping. Keep loving. Keep praying.

  1. Hey guys, I know that today and tonight have been very anxious time for you. But know that Katie is up there watching over you and your surgery. She may reach down and tickle your nose Brent just to let you know she is there with you.
We all are praying for you and are waiting close to our computers watching the blog for updates. Know that as you all go through this, so many people around the world are going through it with you. That we all want to see the pictures of Brent sitting up with his feet dangling over the side of the bed and Scot on his knees kissing those feet. I think Brent would have the most fun in that.
    Hoping, Loving, Praying always,
    Drew, Sheila and kids

  4. Dear Scot, Carolyn, and Brent-
As we prayed for you tonight, we are once again putting our trust completely in the Great Physician, and we know that you, Brent, could not be in better hands. God has provided you with the best of care where you are and He will continue to guide all of those He places in your presence -in preparation for this surgery, during and post-op. We, too, are excited as we anticipate your recovery. May all three of you have a night of rest, and may you completely be at peace as you awaken, knowing that God is in total control- as always!
    With our love and prayers,
    Daphne C. and Cathy G.
