Scot, Carolyn (Cary) and Brent are starting a new journey (again) in their lives. Today, around 11:30 a.m., the Peterson's arrived safely in Saskatoon. Some details for you to know:
- Brent's new home is at City Hospital here in Saskatoon
- Brent will be persevering through phsyio, rehab, school work, and basically getting stronger
- Scot and Carolyn (Cary) will get to finally stay in their home
- Their pet cat will be reunited with them today
We are so thankful for the care they have received for the past eight months in Regina. However, we are thankful that Brent and his parents returned today. The healing journey is not over, it's continuing now in Saskatoon.
Due to the staff getting to know Brent and keeping him busy with physio etc - there will be no visitors permitted. Watch this blog to know when you can visit.
Psalm 136:1 "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever".
Keep hoping.Keep loving.Keep praying.
Miracles are happening through Brent and this is a great example of answers to prayer.
Congratulations on being home! It must be a nice feeling. Know that we are still praying for your family. Welcome back!

Welcome home Brent, Scot and Carolyn:
ReplyDeleteWhat an answer to prayer! A big "thank you" to the staff at the General in Regina - who so ably and carefully cared for this family - and who must all seem like a "second family" these days!
And Petersons - I am grateful for your return home. Take time to readjust.
This is good news! Praise God again!
Reta (Saskatoon)
I'm sure there are some sad moments as you leave all those in Regina that have fallen in love with you all! God has worked his miracles in your lives in that hospital and I am confident that you have left a great testimony of God's greatness and goodness! May God continue to go before you as you journey these next steps with great patience and grace! We are so thrilled that you are one step closer to home Brent, with many of your family and friends! Keep up all your hard work, you have blessed us greatly as we have seen first hand the living miracles that God has done not only for you, but for us all as we have witnessed your life.
