New Wheels & A Better Day

Brent with his "New Wheels". The only thing we will change is the UGLY Winnipeg Blue color to Rider GREEN. We need a water bottle holder installed as well.

Brent with Justin and Darren in MPICU with his new wheels.

Continue to pray for:
Pain in Brent's back.
Pain in Brent's left hand.

Highlights:
We went to 5F for Physio and walked 2x for about 20-25 steps each time.
New wheels arrived at 3:00 from Medichair and we went to MPICU and showed off the new wheels and walked for them.
We learned how to transfer from wheelchair to Dad and Mom's van. We took a ride to Costco and then ordered supper from Applebees and then went to BestBuy.
We had supper in Brent's room from Applebee's.

Thank you for your prayers.
Keep hoping. Keep loving. Keep praying.

  4. good mornin! great to finally have time to read and see the pics. Auntie sus finally got laid off. No more cold or rain. Great to see those new wheels, but whats wrong with blue? I think the blue goes great with the WINNIPEG BLUES. Well I guess we can discuss that when we see you next. Happy to see the big smile on your face and am so proud of you. Keep up the good work. Love and kisses Aunt sus from Winkler,MB

  5. Brent,
You're doing amazingly well, & you've made so much progress! You & your family have been such a testimony of faith for so many others. I read your blog just about every day, & it's been wonderful to be a part of your family's journey in this way. I knew your mom from a long time ago (before you were born) when we worked together at Circle Drive. And now here we are, we're both mamas to 2 great boys. My heart broke the other day when I read that you were having a bad day. But you know what I think? I think that that is part of the whole healing process too. But, I'm glad that yesterday was better. Your new set of wheels look fantastic & I'm excited for you & the opportunities that lie ahead for you. Who knows what awesome things God has planned for you? Hope that today will be a great day for you & your mom & dad!
