Missing Katie

These pictures and words were posted by Brent in memory of Katie.

Brent is having bad dreams about seeing his sister Katie lying in the back seat of the van not moving and not responding to Brent calling her name.

Please pray for Brent as he is sad and missing Katie. Brent is also scared when he goes in the ambulance back to Saskatoon and when he's passing where the accident happened.

Thank you for your prayers.
Keep hoping. Keep loving. Keep praying

  1. Bubs,
Auntie misses Katie so much too. I am sad for you that you are having bad dreams about the accident. Katies knows how very much you love and miss her. It doesn't make us miss her any less, but she's happy with Jesus now, and we'll all be together again someday.
I will pray for you to be comforted in your dreams, and that Jesus will give you peace.
Some day, when you dream of Katie, the hurt won't be so bad...I know that doesn't help you right now, but until that day comes, MANY people are praying for you. YOU ARE LOVED!
I miss you. It was good to hear your voice today. Call me anytime, okay?
All my love forever and always,
    Auntie

  2. Thanks for posting these pictures Brent. I think of Katie lots and sometimes it is painful so I can't imagine what it is like for you.

We will be praying that your dreams will be beautiful memories of Katie. It will be a difficult process and will probably take a long time but that's the way God made you so don't apologize for it.

We love you and can't wait till you are back here so we can see you (and Mom & Dad) more. Until then, know that our love and prayers are with you constantly.

    Love ya,
    Uncle Mattias & Auntie Jan

  3. We are so glad to hear you are coming home Brent and can't wait to see you.

I know you are having great anxiety about coming home, passing the accident, coming back to the house, seeing all of us that have been waiting for you to come home. But know and remember "God would not be letting this happen if He knew you were not ready for it". We all miss Katie and still think of her bubbly, loving face.

This is another part of the healing process you need to go through to get stronger. We will all help in whatever way we can, because we love you sooo much. Ya, even your Mom and Dad are kinda cool too (hahaha). Just lean on everyone and anyone you feel you need to.

    Hoping, Loving, BELIEVING IN YOU!!!!

    Drew, Sheila, and kids

  4. It's bound to be tough Brent all of these 'firsts'. Riding in the ambulance, passing the scene of the accident, adjusting to home without your beloved sister but you have shown that you are a fighter. Don't be afraid to grieve Brent, it is healthy, but don't let it consume you either. Build on the positives and remember, God kept you here for a purpose so be strong and move forward when it is time. We're still praying for you daily, thanks for the updates. I am very happy for you and your family that you are progressing so quickly in your recovery....Rose...Calgary
