Hey everyone - Brent is resting well this morning. Later today he will have surgery. Pray for his blood pressure to become stable and for a successful surgery. This will be his eighth surgery. He is listening to one of his favorite artists - Toby Mac.
"God sets up a circle of protection around us while we pray" Psalm 34:7

ReplyDeleteAh Cary and Scot, my heart and prayers go out to you. May our faithful Heavenly Father's strength, comfort, peace and love envelop you and sustain you as you wait. Christ our fearless Leader was peaceful in the waiting times. He waited thousands of years to become flesh and dwell among us. He waited 30 years to begin His earthly ministry. He waited until Lazarus was cold and decaying before He raised him from the dead. And we can wait like Christ waited. Isaiah 64:4 reminds us that God alone knows what is in store for those who wait on Him. I personally have experienced God's peace in my waiting times, and I'm not good at waiting, from my human stand point. But God empowers. You can lean heavily on His faithful and loving everlasting arms. 24/7. Thank God. Lovingly, Linda Holmes
