Hey everyone. Brent "Little Man" is still in critical condition. Pray for the following please:
- the new sedative that it will be more effective in the healing process
- for the infection to go away
- for the blood pressure to become stable
- for wisdom and strength for the medical staff that are looking after him
- for Scot and Carolyn (Cary) - peace and strength
During this critical stage today the nursing staff said that it is best if no one talks or touches Brent so he doesn't become too excited. For a few moments tonight though they let Carolyn (Cary) speak a few words to Brent and say good night. The small moments in life are priceless.
Thank you for your prayers and for your notes of encouragement on the blog or facebook. Scot and Carolyn (Cary) have been reading them every night for inspiration.
Keep praying please...
We are praying for Brent tonite as we work. Thank you for the updates. Be strong Scott and Carolyn, God is with you all.

Scott & Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteWe have been praying for you guys and Brent since we heard about the accident. We want you to know we continue to join with many others praying for Brent's current situation, for the two of you as you continue to work through your own physical situations and for all of your family as you remember Katie.
To our Dearest Petersons,
ReplyDeleteWe had the privelige of seeing Katie and Brent grow up in their toddler years, and taking care of them. They became part of the family in that short time, and we often reflect and remember the wonderful times we had with them. Our kids felt as if they were their siblings while we had them, and we remember the fun they brought to our home. Even though time has passed, you all still remain in our hearts and prayers. We hold a special place for each of you and know that you are loved. We grieve with you the passing of Katie, but at the same time rejoice as she is dwelling with our Heavenly Father. We remember her as an energetic toddler, and so smart, she would catch on to our spanish so quick it warmed our hearts! We hold on to those dear and joyful memories.
Words can not express enough in times like these, but know that we are with you in prayer for this whole situation and keep interceding for beautiful Brent, we too are waiting on God with you. We want to also express the role models of parents you are, your parenting will never slip our minds and there is no doubt in our hearts you are an example to all parents and have done the best you can do to raise these precious children, know that you have done and continue doing what God has asked you to do. We are certain God is satisfied with the job you are doing with the lives he entrusted you with. May you never put that in to doubt.
We love you and if we could we would embrace you and tell you again you are not alone in this, if we can do anything please let us know. May God continue to give you strength and peace, rest in him. We continue to pray.
