HEALING PRAYER FOR BRENT
"Father you created Brent. You formed him. You knit his inward parts in his womb. You alone know how to make what is right in Brent's body. You alone know how to heal Brent. As his Creator we pray that you would grant healing to Brent. Let your power envelop him and bring the healing that is needed. AMEN" (Genesis 1:26, Psalm 139)

Scot and Carolyn, know that many people care and love you all and that we all would do anything to help you throiugh this and to bring Brent fully healed through this time. We can't all be there and all most of us can do is pray and shed tears for you. And believe me, a lot of tears have been shed.
ReplyDeleteIf our tears were rain we would flower a desert
If our tears were ointment we would heal a nation
If our tears were gold you would be rich beyond measure
If our tears were prayers we would change the world
If our tears were love it would cover and protect all children
Our tears and our prayers are with you all. Hang in there and know that our Father watches over you, and loves you beyond measure.
Amen and amen.

Dear Carolyn and Scot
ReplyDeleteThe boys from LBP have been pretty quiet but we let them know what is happening with Brent and keep them updated. Yesterday Dakota said "mom, he wouldn't have fought this hard over the last 2 weeks for nothing, that's not Brent. He's going to come throught this" Sometimes I forget how much kids know and see and believe. Thinking and praying for you everyday.

Praying and believing for you all in this difficult time. My sister Grace Church just emailed me to pray for Brent. Brent's grandparents are my sister's best friends. I have emailed 9 other prayer warriors to pray for Brent and his parents.
ReplyDeletePraise God for the body of Christ, united prayer is powerful.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Scot and
ReplyDeleteCarolyn.I am praying for Brent and believing
for a full recovery.I remember Brent as a sweet
quiet little boy in my Sunday School class at
Westside Pentecostal.I am lifting him up to our
Lord through my tears. My heartfelt sympathy for your precious Katie.I have fond memories
of a lively little girl also in my Sunday School class. From what I have heard and read Katie was a beautiful, caring, loving young lady,
who is now with Jesus.I pray you both will feel
God's arms wrapped around you and holding you
close.In Jesus' name.
