This site is to encourage and support the Peterson family. Scot, Carolyn and their two kids, Katie and Brent were on their way for a fun family weekend. Around 3:30 p.m on Friday, February 27, 2009 there was a tragic accident just south of Lumsden near Regina. The parents Scot and Carolyn were taken to hospital with serious injuries. Brent, 14, was hospitalized with critical injuries. With immense grief we found out that Katie, 16, died at the scene of the accident.
Katie was a sweet girl who was kind to everyone she knew. Katie loved her friends and loved to have fun. She was very involved in her home church, Elim Tabernacle, looking after children. She loved being around kids, especially little babies and toddlers. We will miss Katie greatly.
The purpose of this site is to keep you informed about the family. We encourage you to pray for healing for this family.

Oh my goodness ! When I heard about this , I was in shock . I ' m praying for the Peterson family , & that they heal in time . Brent , you are going to get better . You were a great kids camp counsellor at camp this past year , & I know you ' ll be back this coming year . Just know that everyone from camp is praying for you .
