Brent, the sweetest words I have heard in a long time were the ones I heard as I walked into your hospital room today - "Hi Auntie Jan". You were my Brent again visiting and joking and asking questions. My heart is full to see how far God has brought you.
ReplyDeleteBeing able to be part of your first picnic was awesome beyond words!! I'll try to grow better nails before my next visit so I can be as good as mom:)
We love you so much bud and are so proud of you. Scot & Car you are the most amazing friends. We are truly blessed.
Already looking forward to our next visit:)

Brent, I do not really know you personally that well but I have been following your story since the accident happened and God has been teaching me a lot through your story. I will continue to pray for you and your family.

Bub,
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry I couldn't be at your picnic. I woulda brought my world famous potato salad...okay, so it's not mine so much as it's Grandma's...hehe...but I would have asked her to make it and I would have brought it!! :)
Anyhow, I'm so happy for you that so many other close family were there with you guys. It must have felt amazing to be outside and have different scenery for 90 minutes!
I love chatting with you tonite. Thanks for always taking time to visit with your auntie. You make me smile. God is so good!
I love you and can't wait to see you. Remember what I said about the big kiss....I can't wait!

What an awesome picture! And to be able to be outside, 'unattached' - how exciting! I trust there will now be more opportunities for outings. Keep up the good work, Brent - we continue to rejoice with you and your family with each step forward.

ReplyDeleteHey, Monkeyboy! It's great to see such wonderful pictures of you and your family. I'm glad you were able to get outside and breathe some fresh air! You're looking fantastic! We were in Regina for the game this weekend but I haven't been feeling well, and since I know you haven't either, I didn't think I should come by! That's okay, thought because you were apparently at Emma Lake!!! I certainly thought about you though. I'm still praying and celebrating your recovery! Keep it up, little man! Love you lots! Peace be with you!
