  3. Scott and Cary, never feel obligated to update the blog...you already have so much on your plate. I use it to keep my prayers current, but without updates, I know that God knows what is going on and I release Him to work out His will by asking Him to bless you and Brent. Our hearts are trying to uphold you as you walk this path that God has you on.

I know that our God can do immeasurably more than we ask or think...rest in Him.

    Love Laura and Kevin Funk

  4. Scot & Cary....I feel awful that some followers are taking you to task for not updating the blog and other things like erecting a roadside cross. Please know that the majority of us are concerned only for you and your family and we know that you are doing what's right for you, all of the time. You're an inspiration and I am so thankful that you have taken so much time to share your family's journey with so many.

Blog or not blog, update or no update, you have so many people rooting and praying for you every single day.

    Rest well. Stay strong.

And Go Riders!! (sorry, couldn't resist!)

  5. Scot, Cary and Brent,

I soo agree with Stella. Everyone needs to remember that you don't have to share with us the things that are happening in your lives.

Those that need to take a step back, please do so. This has been such a trying time for them. And when they are able to do so they will. But that will be when Brent is in good health and able to endure that as well.

Stay strong and kick some green butt!!!

  6. I must say agree with those who said that you do not have to feel like you must update the blog every day. Spending time as a family is what matters the most. It is understandable too about wanting to wait to put up a cross when everyone is able to do so. Am praying and thinking of you and appreciate the updates.

  7. Appreciate the concerns re :updates and erecting a cross. Oh, please forgive the perceived insensitivities ......lives are following you and supporting you and praying for you. I think the request was directed at the pastor because there are so many concerned and simply can't sleep with 'human' worry for you all. You are blessed to have so many people following your journey and lovingly upholding you in prayer. I would really hope and pray we would have that support in our time of need. Blessings to all of you. Loving thoughts are extended to Katie. Still praying for you Brent!!
