Road to Recovery

Brent received an awesome present from Kamloops BC today. It is a story lesson of Brent's road to recovery. At each stop there is a scripture verse and a small present such as a fish hook, post it note, penny, survival kit, etc. This is Brent's road to recovery.

Continue to pray for:
Itchiness to subside
Pain in Brent's left hand
Pain in Brent's back
Brent's nausea and headaches to subside

Highlights:
Uncle Gord stopped by for a visit
Brent got a coax cable for the TV (now we can watch the riders on a 32" TV and not a 6" TV)
Noreen from MPICU stopped by for a visit
Played curling on the Wii with Mom (he let Mom win, but beat Grandma yesterday)

Thank you for your prayers.
Keep hoping. Keep loving. Keep praying.

  1. Well done Brent. You are doing amazing and the "Road to Recovery" book will keep you going when it seems a little rough.

I wouldn't let Mom win too many times on the Wii, it may go to her head. Hahaha.

Always thinking of you and reading the blog. Waiting for the day when it reads that you are coming home.

    Hoping, loving, praying

  2. Thanks Brent for letting mom come to the wedding. You know she will always be there for you first but to have her for a short while was sure a pleasure for us. The wedding was great and Clint and Krista send a big hello and keep up the good work. Uncle Garry and I will be down to see you soon. Much love and hugs.....Aunty Heather.

Haven't met you folks and love to see the pictures, we are brothers and sisters in the family of God.
I am thrilled to hear you can enjoy things you couldn't a month ago Brent.
In Jesus Name I ask for renewed strength daily to continue, Bless all the doctors and nurses who care for you.
There may be fewer comments but not fewer prayers.

  8. Hey guys! It was great to see you today, even if it was only a short time! Brent - it's so good to hear your voice and see you rockin' the Wii!! We're gonna sit down here and figure out when we can come see you guys again real soon! The kids are real anxious to come and see you - often when I pray with Josh at bedtime, he adds his own, silent prayer for Brent after I'm done praying.

We love you guys - see you soon!!
    Edith
